delete your volunteer account

You can permanently remove your many hands sign-in for the organization shown in Profile from inside the iOS or Android app.

Delete in the app

  1. Sign in to many hands.
  2. Open Profile and scroll to Account.
  3. Choose Delete my account.
  4. Enter your current password and choose Permanently delete account.

Password confirmation protects the account if someone else has temporary access to your unlocked phone.

Removed immediately

Your volunteer profile name, email, phone number, password, MFA settings, active sessions, and registered notification tokens are removed. You are signed out and can no longer use the deleted credentials. If you have a separate account with another organization, that account is not deleted.

Operational records that may remain

Your organization may retain a generic roster record with role, location approval, and availability information, plus signup, attendance, and verified service-hour history, for safety, reporting, grant, legal, or audit obligations. After account deletion, those records no longer contain your many hands profile name, email, or phone number and appear under a generic deleted-volunteer label. Your organization controls its operational retention schedule.

Email hello@manyhands.works from the address associated with the account. We will verify your identity before making changes.
